Xiaomi is presenting two newcomers to the Redmi Note 11 range in China. The Redmi Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro+ are distinguished by their MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chip and their 144 Hz screen.
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11 series, already strong with a handful of models available in Europe – the eponymous smartphone, the Redmi Note 11S, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G – is enriched with new references. On the occasion of a conference organized in China, the number 3 of the mobile presents the Redmi Note 11T series composed for the time being of two devices: the Redmi Note 11T Pro and the Redmi Note 11T Pro +. Slightly more vitaminized versions of previous devices.

The two smartphones share most of their technical data sheet, starting with their display. Like the Mi 10T Pro in 2021, they adopt an LCD panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz intended to appeal to video game enthusiasts. It also displays a definition of 2460 x 1080 pixels on a diagonal of 6.6 inches, and promises brightness up to 650 nits.
Still in the radius of commonalities, we note the integration of a Dimensity 8100 chip from MediaTek, a platform of course compatible with 5G, engraved in 5 nm and announced at the last Mobile World Congress. It is the memory that accompanies this chip that distinguishes the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Pro +, since the first is flanked by 6 to 8 GB of RAM and 128 to 256 GB of storage (UFS 3.1), while the second only embeds 8 GB of RAM, but offers 128 to 512 GB of storage space. Remember that the Redmi Note 11 Pro + 5G, currently the highest end of the series marketed in France, relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip, in theory less powerful.

Xiaomi is also changing its tune when it comes to photography. It swaps the main 108 megapixel sensor of its Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro + 5G for a 64 Mpx sensor (wide-angle f / 1.72), accompanied by an ultra wide-angle module (8 Mpx) and a third of 2 MP. Both smartphones promise video capture up to 4K at 30 fps. They also include a 16 Mpx sensor on the front for taking selfies.
Faster charging for the “+” model
Let’s end this overview with a word on the battery in charge of powering the two smartphones. The Redmi Note 11T Pro is equipped with a 5080 mAh battery compatible with fast charging at 67 W. The Redmi Note 11T Pro+ has a slightly more compact 4400 mAh battery, but comes with 120 W charging This last difference probably explains the slight difference in format that distinguishes the two devices: the 11T Pro measures 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.87 mm for 200 g, against 163.64 x 74.29 x 8.9 mm for 198 g for the 11T Pro+. It should be noted that both include a 3.5 mm jack and run on MiUI 13.

Both smartphones will be available in early June in China from 1799 yuan for the Redmi Note 11T Pro (just over €250 excluding taxes), and 2299 yuan for the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ (around €325). The latter is even available in a limited edition Astro Boy complementing its usual colors (black, silver and blue). It will probably take several months before they become available in Europe.
