A COPYCAT RUNS THE STREETS
Vanessa spent the night in the hospital and is still in shock. With tears in her eyes, she confides to Georges that she sees Mercier’s gaze again and that she feels the sensation of the needle in his neck. To reassure her, the policeman guarantees that she is safe and that he won’t hurt her anymore. Insofar as Vanessa feels very badly having stabbed a man, Georges reminds her that she acted in self-defense. When Victoire comes to check on her constants, the chef takes the opportunity to hear from her attacker. Doctor Lazzari tells him that he died an hour earlier. Immediately, Vanessa bursts into tears in the arms of Georges who whispers to her that she has nothing to reproach herself for.
If the death of Mercier is good news for the police, it nevertheless upsets the prosecutor Perraud. Although the investigation is now resolved, Sébastien believes that the killer should have answered for his actions in court and paid for what he did. While Martin rejoices that he will never cause any more casualties, Perraud points out to him, however, that this does not erase the harm he has done or the lives he has destroyed.
For his part, Karim takes Vanessa’s statement which tells in detail what happened the day before at the Spoon. According to Captain Saeed, what she did was brave and George in turn repeats to her that she did nothing wrong before telling her that he loves her.
Meanwhile, Tristan goes to the Spoon to check on Bart and Louise. He then makes them realize that the most beautiful thing they could do to celebrate the fact that life goes on would be to maintain their marriage. Packed by this idea, the couple immediately calls the town hall and relaunch the invitations.
At the same time, Georges is surprised that Mercier has changed his modus operandi. Indeed, since the seamstress, the murderer passed to the injection by syringe. He therefore has the feeling of having missed something but Martin believes that he is rather in shock at what happened to Vanessa. So he asks her to take a few days off to take a step back. For the police, the case is now closed.
Not far from there, Karim tells Chloé that Mercier is dead. As a result, she will no longer need police protection. In the aftermath, Chloe receives a call from Louise who informs her that the wedding is maintained and that it will take place the next day.
Even if Mercier is really dead, his copycat still runs the streets and is about to make a new victim, carefully preparing a tiger rose bud.
Vanessa is meanwhile released from the hospital to the delight of Bart, Louise and Tristan. While the couple offers her to take a vacation to recover from her emotions, the young woman prefers to go back to her kitchen so as not to be afraid of it. To change his mind, Bart tells him that the marriage is maintained. Delighted, the chef even agrees to make a truce with Tristan for the time of the wedding. Immediately after, Tristan and Vanessa get to work.
At the end of the day, Bart takes advantage of a one-on-one time with Louise to tell her of his desire to start a family with her. Having already thought about the matter, Louise declares that she too wishes to have a child with him. The couple then kiss tenderly.
As night falls, the serial killer prepares to look carefully at Bart and Louise’s wedding invitation.
MANON GETS AN INTERNSHIP AT THE CURATORSHIP
Aurore finds it hard to accept that her daughter wants to join the police. In the early morning, she tries to explain to Manon how dangerous this job is, but without success.
Furious, Aurore finds Étienne at the Spoon and accuses him of having directed her daughter to the police. If she counts on him to resolve the situation as soon as possible, the latter retorts that it would be useless. Manon being an intelligent young woman, he urges his sister-in-law to trust him. Arriving at work, Aurore sees her daughter leaving Commander Constant’s office. Indeed, Manon came to request an observation internship. Although he is not in the habit of taking interns, Martin nevertheless agrees to do so out of friendship for Aurore.
But it’s misunderstanding Aurore who has more than one trick up her sleeve. The policewoman hastens to join Sara and Nordine so that they can make her daughter’s internship the most painful experience possible. As Nordine doesn’t find it nice to sabotage her internship, Aurore says it’s not a favor but an order.
At the end of the day, Aurore confides to her husband that she intends to ruin Manon’s internship.
CHRISTELLE KNOWS THE IDENTITY OF THE BLACKSINGER
Sylvain is still concerned about the message he received from the crow. This is why he makes an appointment with Charlie at the Spoon and interrogates her to find out if she has spoken of the gold ingot to anyone. Other than the Messy’s, Charlie says she hasn’t told anyone. Right after, Sylvain then shows him the message that was sent to him.
At the same time, Victor is particularly in a good mood, which did not escape Sophie. The latter also understands that the former businessman is on a bad shot and that his plan is materializing. If the latter confirms it, however, he refuses to say more for the moment.
For his part, Sylvain receives a new anonymous message that says, ” You had fun, now it’s time to pay the bill! See you soon Moreno! “. Back to the wall, Sylvain sees himself obliged to inform his wife. By reading the messages, Christelle understands that Brunet is their blackmailer.
