“That’s also why we love each other, for our differences and our dilemmas”, sang at the time the most charismatic lovers of television. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the unforgettable duo formed by Alexandra Lamy and Jean Dujardin in “A guy, a girl”, “Chouchou” and “Loulou” offers a new youth on TF 1. During its press conference in Back to school, this Thursday, the front page has indeed announced a prime event. Viewers will find with a touch of nostalgia some of the cult scenes from the comedy series broadcast for four years on France 2, reinterpreted by new actors. It remains to be seen whether the main interested parties will pass a head, between a phone call to Jeannette and a spat.
This year, TF 1 has gone all out on French series. Between “Les Combattantes”, a back-to-school event, which will plunge into the hell of the First World War, with Audrey Fleurot, Camille Lou, Julie de Bona and Sofia Essaïdi, “Syndrome E”, adapted from the novel by Franck Thilliez and which will mark the return of Vincent Elbaz to television, or even “Prométhée”, a fantastic series bringing together Odile Vuillemin and Camille Lou, the private channel draws heavy artillery and promises a great show.
Shock TV films are also expected: “The Colossus with Feet of Clay”, adapted from the true story of rugby player Sébastien Boueilh, raped by his coach when he was a teenager and played here by Éric Cantona, “Champion”, where Kendji Girac attacks the taboo of illiteracy, or even “the Mystery Daval”, the first fiction to tell the investigation around the murder of Alexia, on the night of October 27 to 28, 2019.
The “Star Academy” on a daily basis
“Entre ses mains”, a breathless thriller carried by Natacha Lindinger and Yannick Choix, or “Touchées”, the first production by Alexandra Lamy, with Mélanie Doutey, Chloé Jouannet and Claudia Tagbo should also surprise. Just like “Aim for the heart”, the detective but romantic series with Claire Keim or “Addict”, the sulphurous thriller. Also on the menu, three international co-productions: “The Forest of the Disappeared”, with Grégory Fitoussi, Thierry Godard and Hélène de Fougerolles, “I3A” where Marc Lavoine will lend his features to a brilliant psychiatrist, or even “Cannes confidential” with Lucie Lucas. Not to mention the return of the new generation “Red Bracelets”.
Currently filming, “@venir”, six episodes in which Kev Adams plays with the past in the hope of changing lives, “Toulouse-Lautrec”, a promising comedy around a high school that welcomes students in situations of disability and the “valid”, with Shy’m, Stéphane de Groodt and Valérie Karsenti, and “Les Randonneuses” in the 3-star cast (Alix Poisson, Claire Borotra, Camille Chamoux, Clémentine Célarié, Baptiste Lecaplain, Lucien Jean-Baptiste, etc.) .
On the entertainment side, the “Star Academy” will therefore be back. In addition to the prime times, the show will have its daily life, as we indicated. This should find its place around 5:50 p.m., just before “Here everything begins” and “Tomorrow belongs to us”, and will only be composed of images of the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys.
The big brands at the rendezvous
Another big blow: the return of the Unknowns, on the occasion of a special evening. Bernard Campan, Pascal Légitimus and Didier Bourdon will meet in a mini-fiction, accompanied by sketches replayed by other actors. For its part, after a first success in 2019, the Palmashow is expected in 2023 with a new 90-minute production. On the humor side, Camille Combal will offer a new “Great inlay”, interfering in “HPI”, “Joséphine, guardian angel”, “Ninja Warrior”…
All the big brands will be there, from “The Voice” to “Koh-Lanta” via “Dancing with the stars”. The latter will have the right to a special broadcast on MyTF1, where the public will be able to discover the new dancers of this edition. And as announced in our columns, “Mask Singer”, currently filming, will be able to count on an unprecedented jury composed of Chantal Ladesou, Vitaa and Jeff Panacloc, alongside Kev Adams. Among the characters: a Dalmatian, a rose, a baby, a gingerbread man but also two international stars, two guest jurors and “a spy”.
The performing arts will also have pride of place on TF 1 and on TMC. For humor, the group will offer the latest creations by Anne Roumanoff, Artus, Booder, Muriel Robin, Jarry, Gaspard Proust and Jeff Panacloc, as well as, for the first time, a recording of a show by Fabrice Luchini. For the music, Indochine and Kendji Girac will have the honors of a first part of the evening.
