Disco Elysium: The Final Cut
Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is an RPG developed by ZA/UM, known for the complexity of its scenario and its multiple customization possibilities. You play as a detective who must solve a gigantic investigation set in an alternate 20th century in the coastal town of Revachol. Going back to customization, you can change both your character’s physique and personality. Each of these choices will have consequences on the screenplay. The game also uses the Nintendo Switch’s internal clock. Some events only trigger at specific times of the day and/or night. In terms of gameplay, the action is rare, the experience revolving around interactions and conversations with NPCs.
Developed by Pixpil studio, Eastward is an RPG filled with rhythmic and captivating dialogues within a fantastic and retro industrial universe. You play here John, a miner, whose mission is to guide a little girl through the city and its dangers. It’s a fairly linear title, but still leaves plenty of room for exploration. Indeed, you need to obtain certain weapons to continue the adventure. The fights, on the other hand, may give you a hard time. The game also contains puzzles to solve that require you to coordinate your two characters. The universe is very vast and each encounter brings its share of information and context to the situation, without forgetting to bring a touch of humor.
monster hunter rise

After a rather complex introduction likely to confuse new players, the game begins in the village of Kamura, as a disaster called The Calamity approaches. Hero customization is one of the keys to the experience offered with no less than 14 categories of weapons available, not including equipment. The hunt can be effected in solo or multiplayer while several secondary quests come to decorate the parties. Monster Hunter Rise finally introduces a parallel Tower Defense system. As its name suggests, you have to defend a fortress from hordes of monsters.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story
Released for the 10th anniversary of League of Legends, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is a game developed by Airship Syndicate. For LoL players, this is an opportunity to learn more about the past of these characters. The gameplay is quite simple. Combat level, it is a turn-based system which is privileged which denotes real-time clashes of League of Legends. As a good self-respecting role-playing game, Ruined King pushes you to improve your champions and unlock abilities and equipment.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim follows Dragon’s son, Dovahkiin in the strife-ridden land of Skyrim. The balance is upset, as the dragon Alduin The Devourer of Worlds reappears at the same time and only you can order. The title comes with a gigantic playtime and an equally impressive exploration. The quests are also numerous and they allow you to collect various skills and weapons to personalize your gaming experience. Skyrim has been provided with many modes to improve the gameplay or the graphics, but which are not compatible on the Nintendo Switch. Luckily, amiibos offer outfits or even gear to compensate.
Triangle Strategy is a role-playing game developed by Square Enix. Three nations clash here in order to control the exploitation of salt and iron. Each player choice has major influences on how the story unfolds. In order to discover the ins and outs of the scenario, discussion is to be preferred with the NPCs, even if it is by no means an easy solution because each choice, each situation can have harmful consequences (or not). On the combat side, it’s quite classic although close to perfection in its realization with highly strategic turn-based confrontations involving units, terrains and skills.
Young Souls is a Beat’em All / RPG developed by 1P2P, playable solo or in cooperation. You play as the twins Jenn and Tristan who have gone in search of their adoptive father, The Professor, in the heart of the Goblin kingdom. It will not be easy, because some levels require you to complete various challenges. In Young Souls, hero talents are fully customizable. Thus, depending on the weapon and the equipment chosen, the gameplay evolves while the weight carried by our heroes influences their speed of movement.

He finds himself having to do a mysterious job that will change his life. The game offers large expanses that can be explored but where it is easy to find yourself facing sometimes impressive enemies. You control one of three playable characters, Rex or his friends Pyra and Lame. Each has a different element from the other that must be mastered to achieve the best combos. And finally, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 comes with a remarkable soundtrack to make the experience even more immersive.
