Gerda: A Flame in Winter

If DON’T NOD is no longer at work on Life is Strange, that does not mean that the French studio has abandoned narrative games. With Gerda: A Flame In Winter he even launches into publishing and offers to introduce us to the new Portaplay title (Broken Lines). For the latter, the small Danish studio has decided to tackle a context particularly rich in poignant stories: the Second World War. This is not just another game where you play as a soldier, since it is the life of Gerda, a young nurse, that you are invited to discover in this moving title. The whole is carried by an artistic direction which made the choice of the rather attractive watercolor. We were able to discover the game a few months ago and here’s what we picked up.
